What is Puppy Chow?

Puppy chow, also known as Muddy Buddies, is a fun and easy no-bake treat. Chex rice cereal is the base to this addicting concoction. In the original version, the cereal is coated in chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar, but we are going to tweak the ingredients to make it look like dirt and worms! Although this is called “puppy” chow, it’s definitely not for dog consumption.

A Fun and Creepy Halloween Treat

In this version of puppy chow we’ll be using Oreo crumbs and gummy worms to create a tasty snack that’s perfect for Halloween, a birthday party, or even a fun weekday snack for chocolate and gummy worm fans. This recipe only has 4 ingredients and it whips up in a flash. It’s the perfect recipe for a last minute party or movie night with the family when you feel short on time.

With the “dirty” looking Chex and the creepy, colorful worms, this treat is full of fun. You just can’t top the combination of Oreos and gummy worms. It doesn’t take much work on your part to create this tasty treat without the use of your oven. You can even package it in a little box or jar to use as a party favor. Kids (and grown-ups!) will be begging you to feed them more dirt and worms!

Easy Tiramisu Trifle Recipe

I’m always looking for quick and easy dessert recipes that I can throw together in a pinch. Trifles are the perfect solution. And the layers in this tiramisu-inspired trifle are all amazing.

Now you may be thinking that this one seems a little crazy, but hear me out. Coffee. Nutella. Caramel. What about that could be bad? It seriously combines into one of my favorite desserts. I’ve made it many times and fall in love with it all over again every time. I absolutely love the way the cake absorbs the coffee flavor. Then it combines with the creamy pudding. Then the Nutella ganache firms up just enough to add a little texture and it’s truly my favorite layer. The whole thing is addicting and will fly out of the dish when you serve it. Trust me.

The Best No Bake Cheesecake Recipe

I love that you don’t even have to turn on the oven to make this cheesecake and it delivers almost equally delicious results as a classic baked version. The filling is thick and creamy without being overly dense. It has a lovely tang to it as well, which really takes it to the next level, in my opinion. The filling sits on top of a buttery graham cracker crust that provides the perfect, crunchy juxtaposition to the smooth filling. Wowza!

I am, without a doubt, picky about my cheesecakes. They need to be just the right texture, just the right flavor…pretty much just the right everything. It’s hard to get it right and arguably even harder if you’re attempting to do it without an oven. Luckily this no bake cheesecake breaks the mold. Plus it takes a fraction of the time needed to make a baked rendition. Try it. You’ll see.

No Bake Peanut Butter Cheesecake

For those of you peanut butter-chocolate lovers out ther, this no bake Reese’s peanut butter cheesecake is about to blow your mind. Every bite is loaded with peanut butter flavor. The filling has creamy peanut butter AND mini Reese’s folded into it and is coated in a rich chocolate ganache that’s out of this world. Just in case you didn’t get enough peanut butter, I sprinkled the dessert with even more mini Reese’s. Did I mention the buttery Oreo crust? Wow! So much chocolate. So much peanut butter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I have been loving no bake cheesecakes recently. They take a fraction of the time that a classic cheesecake would and they are just so creamy and delicious. If peanut butter and chocolate are calling and you’re looking for a quick and easy, yet wowing dessert, this recipe is for you. No oven. No water bath. Just heaven in dessert form.
